About Sessions
Does the neuroplasticity approach apply to my symptoms?
If you answer "yes" to most of the following questions, it is very likely that your symptoms might be neuroplastic and could benefit from this approach:
♡ Do you suffer from chronic pain or symptoms for > 6 months?
♡ Have you been medically diagnosed with at least 1 condition*, known to be "stress-related", or do you experience any chronic unexplained symptoms that disrupt your well-being despite consulting many healthcare professionals and trying various therapies?
♡ Are your diagnostic tests normal, or could they have incidental findings that do not really explain your symptoms?
♡ Are your symptoms inconsistent e.g., come and go, move around depending on the time of the day, days of the week, or seasons?
♡ Do your symptoms fluctuate based on the foods you eat, activities you engage in, specific places you're in, or your emotional state such as positively or negatively distracted?
♡ Did you go through stressful situations while growing up, leading to a build-up of repressed emotions?
♡ Did you go through a stressful situation, or a major changes, prior to the onset of symptoms?
♡ Do you identify with one or more of personality traits that can create inner pressure, such as perfectionist, ambitious, people pleaser, highly sensitive, overthinker, health anxious, harsh inner critic...?
♡ Do you currently experience a highly stressful daily life, with most time spent on work, responsibilities and less on your needs, desires, self-care, rest, relaxation, joy and play?
♡ Are you constantly frustrated and fearful about your symptoms? Have you developed an identity around them and believe that they have taken over your life?
*Examples include but are not limited to: fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, ME/CFS, POTS, interstitial cystitis, brain fog, gastroesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, allergies, eczema, psoriasis, migraines, tension headaches, bruxism, muscle pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, insomnia, tinnitus....
What if I don't suffer from chronic neuroplastic symptoms?
The neuroplasticity approach focuses on creating safety in both the mind and body, while helping you live a more genuine, authentic, and fulfilling life. This is why I can support you along those goals, whether you experience chronic pain or not, as it may also help prevent symptoms from developing.
It is highly recommended especially if you answer "yes" to most of the following questions:
♡ Are there areas of your life where you feel you're not living up to your full potential due to fears and/or limiting beliefs?
♡ Do you tend to put others first, struggle with setting boundaries, and neglect your own needs and desires?
♡ Do you feel overwhelmed by responsibilities and neglect self-care and playful activities that bring you joy and relaxation?
♡ Do you identify with one or more of the following personality traits: perfectionist, people pleaser, sensitive, overthinker, harsh inner critic, overly positive, or stoic?
♡ Did you go through stressful situations while growing up that caused a build-up of repressed emotions?
Who can't I help?
Unfortunately, if you strongly identify with the points below, the neuroplasticity approach may not be suitable for you:
♡ You are not willing to sign the client agreement, which includes agreeing to exclude structural medical issues that require professional medical intervention.
♡ You are not willing to be curious to the possibility that neuroplastic symptoms are caused by learned neural pathways in the brain and not by structural damage. This does NOT imply that symptoms are not real and very well felt.
♡ You are not open to trying this approach wholeheartedly and to challenging your existing thoughts and knowledge about your symptoms.
♡ You are looking for a fast, effort-free solution and passive approach for your symptoms.
♡ You are not willing to be patient with results since they vary depending on how long your brain needs to feel safe, which cannot be predicted nor guaranteed. Each individual is unique and will move at his/her own pace, which will also affect results.

Why work with me?
♡ Former chronic pain sufferer - I haven't only learned how to recover from symptoms through my certifications, research and experience; I've also gained knowledge through my own personal journey with chronic pain & other persistent symptoms. This helps me relate on a deep level with anyone going through a similar journey.
♡ Personalized approach - I believe that the best way for people to heal is to implement neuroplastic-based approaches in their own way, which is why I use a personalized, adaptable, advice-free approach.
♡ Evidence-based explanations - This new approach is rooted in principles that are backed by research, as shown in the University of Colorado - Boulder study published in JAMA Psychiatry (2022/2025 Update). Having a scientific background, I find it easy to convey information in a rational way which can reach many who, like me, need to fully understand how tools works and move with purpose towards recovery.
♡ Working towards independence - An important part of healing includes feeling more capable to deal with emotions and/or symptoms, and more comfortable with decision-making. While accountability, education, guidance, and support from my side are important at the beginning, you may find yourself ready to move forward independently after a few sessions.
♡ Patient, positive, motivating, realistic, understanding, accepting and non-judgmental - During my personal journey, I learned how important it is to have someone with such qualities supporting you while you are working on yourself, to eliminate chronic pain & symptoms or not! My aim is to create a safe space where you can be yourself, move at your own pace and never give up until you get where you want to be :)
How many sessions do I need to recover?
The time it takes to recover from neuroplastic symptoms is very person-specific, and depends on how long it will take for your brain to feel safe. Around 4 sessions is needed to get a clear and good understanding of the approach, its principles & tools.
